Seeking part-time (leading to possible full-time) position as an Interior Designer with professional degree, minimum of 6-8 years experience in high-end residential projects and purchase orders. Solid interior architectural design experience in AutoCad and with Construction Documentation is required. A methodical and concise approach to the development of millwork, custom furniture design, and architectural details will also be a high priority.
Candidate must have the following skills:
Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
High-end residential experience. Extensive knowledge of New York trade sources
Self-starter, extremely motivated and diligent
Strong presentation skills
Able to track and maintain spreadsheets, budgets, purchase orders, etc.
Strong AutoCAD and general computer skills (Microsoft word, Excel, etc)
Basic knowledge of graphic programs Photoshop and InDesign is highly recommended, along with a familiarity with 3D rendering programs.
